Walk Three Tours We Shot
These are real Matterport tours from listings we scanned, opened here exactly the way a buyer opens yours. Each one shows the size of the home and what that scan cost.
Matterport 3D Tour Pricing
Pricing runs on square footage and there is nothing hidden underneath it. The base covers a home up to 1,100 square feet, and each additional 500 square feet adds $50.

Six months of hosting comes with every tour. After that, hosting is $100 for each additional six months. Most listings close comfortably inside the first window, so most agents never see that charge — but you should know it exists before you commit a listing to a tour, because a tour that goes dark in the middle of escrow is a real problem and it is one that other providers do not warn you about.

The unbranded link
Carries no agent name, no brokerage and no contact details, which is what the MLS requires.

The branded link
Carries all of it. That is the one for your own website, your email blast and your social.

We scan with a Matterport Pro 3. A 2,000 square foot home takes roughly 45 minutes on site, and larger homes take proportionally longer. You do not need to be there, most agents leave a lockbox code, but the house does need to be ready, because the camera captures every room exactly as it stands and there is no retouching a 3D scan the way there is a photograph. Before we arrive: lights on in every room, blinds open, counters and bathrooms clear, toilet lids down, cars off the driveway, pets secured, and anything you do not want in the tour put away. Personal photographs, mail, medication and paperwork are the four we most often have to ask about.

What Comes Back
The walkthrough
The standard view, where a buyer opens a door, turns a corner and walks the house alone.
Both links, in your download portal
A branded link for your marketing and an unbranded link for the MLS, ready on delivery.
The dollhouse view
Lifts the roof off and shows the whole floor plan as one object, so the layout reads fast.
The floor plan view
A clean overhead view of every room, drawn to scale, with no second visit to the house.
Measurement mode
Buyers measure a wall or a doorway, and check a sofa fits before they book a showing.

THE DEVICE WE USE
Matterport Pro 3, and Why the Camera Matters
The Pro 2, infrared
Most Matterport tours in Southern California are still captured on the Pro 2, which reads depth using infrared. Infrared struggles in daylight, which is why older tours tend to stop at the back door.
The Pro 3, lidar
The Pro 3 uses lidar instead. It measures distance with a laser rather than reading an infrared pattern, so it holds accuracy in bright light and at longer range.
What that means for your listing
The measurements buyers pull off the tour are tighter, and we can carry the scan outside: a pool deck, a patio, a courtyard, the walk up to the front door, instead of ending the tour at the threshold. On a Southern California property, where a good part of the value is outdoors, that is not a small difference.
Where We Scan
If you are looking for a Matterport photographer near you, we cover four Southern California markets and most of our tour work sits inside them. Same pricing in all four, and no travel charge.

3D Virtual Tour FAQs
A Matterport 3D tour is $265 for a home up to 1,100 square feet. Every additional 500 square feet adds $50, so a 2,000-square-foot home is $365. A schematic floor plan is $130 on top. Six months of hosting is included in every price.
The $265 covers the full Matterport Pro 3 scan of a home up to 1,100 square feet, the finished 3D tour, both a branded and an unbranded link, and six months of hosting. There is no separate setup, processing or delivery charge.
No. A schematic floor plan is a separate $130. It is generated from the same scan, so it does not require a second visit, but it is priced on its own because not every agent orders one.
About 45 minutes for a 2,000-square-foot home. Larger homes take proportionally longer. The house should be photo-ready before we arrive, because the camera captures every room exactly as it stands.
Six months of hosting is included with every tour. After that, hosting is $100 for each additional six months. Most listings close well inside the included window, so most agents never pay it.
Yes. Every tour is delivered with two links through our download portal, one branded and one unbranded. The unbranded link is the one that satisfies MLS rules, and the branded link is the one for your own site and social.
A Matterport Pro 3. It is Matterport's current professional camera and it uses a lidar sensor rather than the infrared depth sensing of the older Pro 2, which means tighter dimensional accuracy and usable capture outdoors as well as inside.
No. We only need access. Most agents leave a lockbox code. If you would rather be there you are welcome to, but the scan runs the same either way.
If your listing is in Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, or Long Beach, House of Pix is your Matterport photographer, and the price is the same across all four markets. Booking runs through our scheduler, and the published pricing is what you pay, with no travel charge inside those markets.
